One
We've had some illness around here for the past couple of weeks, but it seems to have passed finally. All the kids got it one at a time, which wasn't much fun, but it seems to have run through them all without affecting Mom and Dad. It was a sore throat, fever thing that lasted for 2 days per kid.
Two
I'm taking the 3 youngest to Family Fun Night at the ballpark tonight and we're all looking forward to it. There will be inflatables and games, including home-run derby. Lee and Jacob and some father and son friends are going to see the Atlanta Thrashers.
Three
Tomorrow is adult movie night here. We joined Netflix and have decided that if we don't plan a movie night it may never happen. We have American Gangster with Russel Crowe. We hope it's good!
Four
Our boys are scheduled to altar serve every Sunday at 8 a.m. during March and April. That's the way it is when you have 3 altar servers and you attend a mass is one of the least popular for families.
Five
Tomorrow our chickens will be two weeks old, and they sure are growing. I hope to get some pictures of them soon to post so you can see how much they've changed.
Six
The weather has been so beautiful today that we've taken the afternoon off of school.
Seven
We're studying the American Revolution and have been reading Johnny Tremain. It is such an awesome book and I would recommend it to anyone who can read at an adult level or for a read-aloud for younger kids. We've also got M is for Mayflower to add in a little geography as well.
If you'd like to read more 7 Quick Takes, pop on over to Conversion Diary and follow the links. This is my first time, and it's pretty fun.
Happy weekend everyone!!! :)

We love Netflix. You can watch movies online instantly, too. That's a great feature for those moments that you want a movie but don't have one and don't want to go to the video store.
While doing a massive clean-out of my room a few months ago, I watch a bunch of oldie but goodie movies on Netflix. I just had them playing in the background while I filed papers and sorted clothes. It was great fun!
